Orlando graduated from The University of Texas in 1975 and began his financial career upon joining Deloitte & Touche LLP in Houston where he audited both large and small publicly traded companies over a four year tenure. He then joined American General Corporation in Houston, where he enjoyed a 15year career, initially as Corporate Controller and later as Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Division.
Orlando continued his financial career when joined A.G. Edwards in 1999, and in 2002 he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Away from the office, Orlando spends his free time with his three sons and their families, along with his two Chocolate Labradors Chevy and Max. He enjoys cycling, gardening, traveling, and playing 42 dominoes.
While his three sons were in the Boy Scouts organization, Orlando served in their troop in several capacities, but he appreciates most his role as Eagle Advisor through which, with the help of many parents and the other dedicated troop adult leaders, he played a part in helping over ninety scouts achieve the rank of Eagle.
Upon graduating from The University of Texas in 2003, Andrew immediately began his career as a Financial Advisor. Originally hired to A.G. Edwards, he valued his need for higher education within the industry and consequently earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2006.
Away from the office, Andrew spends much of his free time with his wife of 10 years and his three daughters. In addition to spending quality time with his family, Andrew enjoys the outdoors and playing golf.
